1939 Spange Bar First Class NEW ITEM When a German soldier earned the Iron Cross in WWI and again in WWII, they would wear this revered bar over the original cross to show that they had earned it twice. Unmarked with excellent details, this is a very nice specimen - and is much rarer than the silver version. A very hard to find piece, particularly in this nice of condition. 1944 Silver Anti-Partisan Badge NEW ITEM Scarce "two hole" variation of the Silver Anti-Partisan badge, with no maker marks. This badge was awarded in three levels - bronze, silver and gold - for fighting against anti-Nazi partisan groups. To earn a Silver, one must have participated in 50 days of anti-partisan fighting, or flown in 150 operational sorties in anti-partisan actions. Not instituted until January 30, 1944, these badges could only be awarded on order from Adolf Hitler, himself. There were three levels of the crosses; Bronze for four children, Silver for six, and Gold for eight. Women wearing a Mothers Cross were to be saluted in the streets by the Hitler Youth for their service to Germany. Measures approximately 1-3/4" x 1-1/3", and comes in its original presentation box from B.H. Mayer in Pforzheim.
